How IELTS Sample Tests helped Lee in getting a good score in his IELTS?

Well, I must mention here the importance of taking IELTS sample tests. You just tell me, “will it not be easy for us to remember a thing if the same thing is repeated again and again?” Fear develops when we attempt something new but fear is no where you are habituated to doing something. You may have fear when you drive a car (without knowing how to drive) for the first time but when you develop this art of driving a car then you do not have any sort of fear. You drive in your style and go on to gain perfection at it. Similar is the case with the IELTS sample tests.

When you take IELTS for the first time without any sort of practice then you may have fear but if you take this IELTS exam after complete preparation or after taking some sample IELTS tests then you will not face much difficulty. There will be no sort of fear as you will know of how the questions can be answered……

Lee’s IELTS Preparation began after his language improvement classes

When lee became a trained English speaker he opted for IELTS preparation classes. His only aim behind undergoing English language improvement classes was to take this IELTS exam and get through with a good score. Taking my suggestion, he didn’t book the slot for his IELTS exam but underwent some IELTS training classes in our language school. I must say this to all of the other students or the learners or the IELTS aspirants here that if you too have a desire to take this IELTS exam then before you book your slot or before you register yourself for the test, undergo some IELTS Training Classes as these classes will let you get a lot of advantages and you can pass out without any difficulty.

Remember, if you, as an IELTS examinee, underestimate the importance of IELTS preparation before IELTS exam then you will not be able to get a score which you desire of or which you must get it so that it can be easier for you to apply in the most reputed universities or colleges.

Lee’s next move after the improvement of his English language

Now, lee turned into a good English language speaker after six months of continuous practice and learning and now he was thinking of taking IELTS exam. He approached me and told me of the same. He was actually about to book the slot for his exam but I suggested that he should undergo IELTS training first before he does such a thing (It was very much necessary in his case because he was someone who was still new to the language. He had learned and showed great enhancement in his English language but still it was necessary that he should go for the IELT preparation classes before taking IELTS exam.

IELTS Preparation

How Lee had worked on his language?

He underwent language training classes for six months in our language school. He showed unbelievably great improvement in his English in these six months. When I used to teach, he used to listen with so much of attention that I many times I had to snap my fingers to see if he had not gone into his own self-made world etc. He studied with great interest. He did what was instructed. He developed the habit of reading English newspaper. He developed the habit of speaking in English with the locals. He stopped making use of his local Chinese language (whenever he used to be among his friends). He used to speak in his own learned English language. His beginning was really meager but he really came a long way. He began speaking broken English sentences. He used to join together different and different words he had learned and tried to speak in front of people who are English.

He practiced and practiced and finally he brushed up his language at the end of the course. Lee was one of those students who have never said no to Dedication and Perseverance. Now, he was all ready to go for the IELTS exam but even before that there was another things that which could not have been neglected and that was related to the IELTS preparation or the IELTS practice (yes, Lee had to spend time for IELTS practice to gain improvement or to better understand this test).

IELTS

What was lee’s problem?

Well, as I have already said that lee was a Chinese and was not so very good at English, (though his Chinese was good which made me learn a bit of Chinese). He was a student who was aiming to go to Australia for he wanted to continue his studies there. Lee was a good student as I had seen his credentials which really made me think how can such a bright student have difficulty in speaking English but later I came to know that his medium of instruction was Chinese and English was just the subject and the teachers used to teach English only as a subject not as a the language.

Lee had to improve his English to take IELTS exam:

If Lee wanted to pass in IELTS so he started to work on the improvement of his English language. His English language was not good. He was able to speak only a few of the common sentence such as: How are you? How do you do? I am fine, Good Morning or Good Evening, Good Afternoon or other sentences which are a part of the day-to-day conversations. He was not even an average speaker of the English language. His level was below the level of the average English speaker. When he expressed his wish to pass in IELTS exam I was a bit surprised because he was expressing that thing in his broken English language which was not at all good.

Learning English can be the best way

During my career as an IELTS trainer, I have come across students who preferred to go for English language classes before they get trained for their IELTS exam. Let me explain this to you in a brief manner here. Just a few months back I came across a student who was from china. He was preparing for the IELTS exam. He was a Chinese, his name was lee. He knew a little bit of English language but level of English was not enough to get through this International English Language Testing System or test what we call in short IELTS test.

If you are aiming to get through this IELTS test then you really need to have good English and if your English language is so very bad and you are able to understand or speak only a few introductory sentences in English then it will truly not help you. You will not be able to pass out in flying colors. In order to be able to get a score which can let you get admission in a good university or in a good or a highly reputed college in Australia, Canada, New Zealand etc or other English speaking countries, you need to focus more on IELTS practice or IELTS preparation.

Difference between teaching and training

Many people think that there is not much difference between teaching and training. They believe that the one who teaches is a teacher and the one who trains is a trainer and a teacher can be a trainer and a trainer can be teacher etc. Well, it is true that it can be but still there is something that everyone should understand. Training is not just like teaching.

When the person who is new to a subject, to such as person we teach. But when there is someone who knows a bit about the subject but requires a bit of proficiency in it then in such cases the role of the trainer comes in. Training is much more related to teaching something which can be demonstrated pretty well. Those who appear for the IELTS to such students I train. I train them how to be able to do well in all the four module of the IELTS tests such as IELTS Reading Test, IELTS Writing Test, IELTS Speaking and IELTS Listening Test as in all the four modules the applicant is expected to get a good score.
